Comparison chart showing Bingofy vs other music bingo software options

Music bingo tools solve different parts of the same job. Some only make the cards. Others play the music, run the rounds, and check the winner for you. Picking the right one comes down to three questions: who plays the music, how the cards are made, and how you pay.

This guide compares Bingofy with two well-known music bingo software products, Hitmix Bingo and Singo, and with free card makers.

How this comparison was written. We make Bingofy, so we are not neutral. Everything said here about Hitmix Bingo and Singo comes from their own public websites as of September 30, 2026. We have not tested those products, and we have left out prices because they change. Check each provider’s site before you decide. Bingofy is not affiliated with Hitmix Bingo or Singo Bingo Inc., and their names belong to their owners.

Bingofy: cards from a Spotify playlist

Bingofy does one thing: it turns a public Spotify playlist into printable music bingo cards. You paste the playlist link, choose how many cards you need, pick or design the look of the cards, and download a PDF in which every card is different.

What it does well

  • No typing. Song titles and artists come straight from the playlist, so there are no typos to fix.
  • Nothing to install. It runs in a web browser.
  • Cards that look like your event. A built-in card editor lets you start from a ready-made design or a blank card, then change the title, fonts, colors, and background, and add your logo, photos, and text. It is free on every game. See how to design your own music bingo cards.
  • Pay only when you need more cards. A game with up to 15 cards is free. Larger games are paid per game, from 30 up to 250 cards, with no monthly commitment.
  • Ready-made playlists. If you do not have a playlist, you can start from one of the music bingo playlists.

Where it is limited

  • Spotify only. It does not read playlists from other music services or local files.
  • You run the night yourself. Bingofy makes the cards and a song list. You play the music, host the rounds, and check winning cards by hand.
  • The full editor needs a bigger screen. You can pick a ready-made design on a phone, but editing a card needs a computer or a tablet in landscape.

Hitmix Bingo: desktop software for professional hosts

Hitmix Bingo describes itself as professional software for running music bingo and video bingo events. According to its website:

  • It is built for DJs, venues, and people who host events as a business.
  • It runs on a Windows or Mac computer and works offline. An internet connection is needed only occasionally to validate the subscription.
  • It offers both music bingo and video bingo.
  • You can use your own music or curated playlists.
  • It supports paper cards and online play.
  • It is sold as a subscription with no per-event fees, and there is a free 14-day trial.

Bingofy vs. Hitmix Bingo in short: Hitmix Bingo is software for running the whole show, including video, from a computer. Bingofy only makes the cards, from a Spotify playlist, in a browser. If you host regularly for venues and want the music and the game in one program, look at Hitmix Bingo. If you need cards for a playlist you already have, Bingofy is the simpler tool.

Singo: an app-based platform for venues and DJs

Singo is a music bingo product from Singo Bingo Inc. According to its website:

  • It is a platform for venues and mobile DJs.
  • The host runs the game from a mobile app on Android or iOS.
  • The app provides the music playlists, with song clips already prepared.
  • Cards are generated as PDFs for printing, and each card carries a QR code that the host scans to verify a winner.
  • It is offered as pay per show or as a monthly subscription.

Bingofy vs. Singo in short: Singo supplies the music, the game app, and the winner check in one package. Bingofy supplies cards for music you choose yourself. If you want a complete hosting system for a weekly venue night, look at Singo. If you want to pick your own playlist and print cards for it, use Bingofy.

Free card makers and templates

General bingo card makers and printable templates can also be used for music bingo. They usually work like this:

  • You type or paste the song titles yourself.
  • The tool shuffles them into a set of cards.
  • You print the result.

This costs nothing and works well for a one-off game with a short song list. The trade-off is time: typing 40 to 75 songs by hand takes a while, and mistakes on the cards are easy to make. See free vs. paid music bingo generators for a closer look.

Which one fits your event?

A party, wedding, classroom, or office event. You already have a playlist in mind and need cards for one game. A card generator such as Bingofy, or a free template if the song list is short, is usually enough.

A bar or venue trying music bingo for the first time. Start small. Printable cards and a playlist let you test a night without a subscription, and the cards can carry your logo and the date of the next game. If it becomes a weekly fixture, compare the hosting platforms.

A weekly venue night or a hosting business. Hosting software such as Hitmix Bingo or Singo is designed for this. They handle the music and the rounds as well as the cards. Compare their current plans on their own websites.

You want video as well as music. Of the tools covered here, Hitmix Bingo is the one that says it offers video bingo.

Questions to ask before you choose

  • Who plays the music? Do you want to use your own playlist, or have the tool supply one?
  • How many players, and how often? A one-off game for 20 people is a different purchase from a weekly night for 150.
  • Paper or phones? Decide whether players will mark printed cards or play on their own devices.
  • How do you want to pay? Per game, per show, or a subscription.
  • Will the venue have reliable internet? Some tools work offline and some do not.
  • Do you have the right music licenses? Public venues usually need them. The rules differ by country, so check what your venue already holds.
